Pass the Face Game

Pass the Face Game

The Pass the Face Game is the perfect game for quiet classes. It’s not very active, but the students will often get a kick out of the results.

PASS THE FACE GAME

Target English: body/face parts
Things You Need:a piece of paper for each student, crayons/markers/colored pencils
Age: 4 or older
English Level: low

Game Outline:
1. Give each student a piece of paper and tell them to draw a circle.
2. Have them pass their paper to the student on the right.
3. Tell the students to draw eyes inside the circle, then pass the paper to the student on the right again.
4. Repeat until you have drawn all of the parts of the face–nose, mouth, ears, hair, etc.
5. Let the students compare what the final result looks like. They can note things like “This picture has a big nose and a small mouth.”

Variations

  • If you find that this goes by faster than expected and you have extra time, you can draw the whole body.
  • More advanced students may be able to draw a fuller picture (e.g. “Draw a tree next to the person”, etc.)

Hope you and your kids have fun with this game.

Love,
Shannon Sensei
