Rainy Day Umbrella
Rainy Day Umbrella

The Rainy Day Umbrella is a nice quick and easy craft to do. I came up with the idea one rainy day. Instead of going outside, we were watching a video, and I used that time to prepare the craft.
Materials Needed:
- Construction paper cut in the shape of umbrella pieces
- light blue year cut into small pieces
- glue
Preparation
Cut an umbrella top and handle for each student. Cut the yarn into many small pieces.
This should take 20 minutes for a class of 12.
In Class
- Pass out the two pieces of the umbrella and glue. See if the students can guess what they are going to make.
- Have them glue the handle onto the umbrella.
- Pass out the bits of yarn and have them glue them onto the umbrella to make raindrops.
- Hang the umbrellas in the window.
